What Happens After You Contact Us
- We call you back. A dock supervisor confirms what failed (weight, shift, damage or paperwork) and what equipment you're in.
- You get a door and an arrival window. The call is the appointment. Crew and equipment are staged before you back in.
- We correct the load on our floor. Restack, re-band, re-palletize, redistribute or re-scale, photographed as we go.
- You leave with paperwork. Photos of the fix, a corrected weight ticket if weight was involved, and a release note or corrected BOL.

Do I need an appointment?
One phone call is the appointment. Call 800-376-2808, tell us what you're hauling and when you'll arrive, and we'll assign a door and stage the crew. Emergency walk-ins are handled as capacity allows.
Can I reach someone at night or on weekends?
Yes. The emergency line is answered 24/7, including nights, weekends and holidays, by a dock supervisor rather than an answering service. Office and admin hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Work outside standard receiving and shipping hours carries an after-hours fee, so ask for current pricing when you call.
Where is RapidShips located?
Our facility is at 25A Cotters Lane, East Brunswick, NJ 08816, a short drayage from Port Newark, the Elizabeth Marine Terminal and Port Liberty Bayonne.
Is RapidShips a freight broker?
No. RapidShips is a physical, asset-backed warehouse with its own building, dock crew and forklifts. The team that answers your call is the team that does the work.
