Why Carriers and Shippers Call Us First
Physical, asset-backed operation
Our own building, trained warehouse personnel, and equipment are ready to handle real freight work on the ground — no subcontracting, no relay.
Truly 24/7
Nights, weekends, holidays. A dock supervisor answers the phone and doors open when you arrive.
Port-side position
Located near Port Newark, the Elizabeth Port Authority Marine Terminal, and Global Container Terminal for rapid-response freight recovery.
Time-sensitive freight recovery
Load shifts, port rejections, and non-compliant shipments are corrected around the clock so freight returns to compliant status on the first day.
How We Got Here
RapidShips started with a simple observation: when freight gets rejected at the port, shifts in transit, or fails a scale, the carrier doesn't need a broker relaying calls — they need a dock door, a crew, and equipment, immediately. So we built exactly that in East Brunswick, NJ, close enough to Port Newark, Elizabeth, and GCT Bayonne that the round trip doesn't blow the appointment window.
Every correction — restacking, re-banding, re-scaling, re-palletizing, re-documenting — happens on our own floor, with our own labor and equipment. That's the difference between a company that coordinates freight recovery and one that actually performs it.
What Operating 24/7 Actually Looks Like
Those numbers hold up because the same crew that answers the phone at 2 a.m. is the crew standing at the bay door when the truck arrives — not a call center reading a script, and not a broker trying to find someone else to take the call.
Need a bay right now?
Call the dock directly — a supervisor answers, not a queue.
